Branding ‘blushhst’

This is my first branding project which I started from scratch!

Only information I received was what their products are which are hair pieces.

blushhst is the small online company in Etsy that is mainly focused on providing various kinds of wigs and hair pieces to their customers. Their main target customers are age 20-40 women. As a startup online shopping mall company, they will expand their product range as they grow as a big women’s cosmetic company.

Women desire to meet their personal beauty standards. By choosing wigs or hairpieces, they aim to present themselves as they wish to be perceived by others. This choice embodies their unique secret to feeling beautiful, which may include wearing a blushhst wig or hairpiece. Often, there's a hint of shyness in sharing this beauty secret. We seek to highlight this shyness, as it often brings a natural blush to one's face. Thus, blending the concepts of 'blush' and 'secret', the name blushhst was born.

Color palette & Theme

We selected pink as our primary color, yet we recognized that using only pink might not fully capture the diversity of our customers. Each customer has unique emotions, standards, goals, and preferred colors. To reflect this variety, we incorporated additional colors such as purple, peach, red, and yellow. To achieve a subtle effect, we blended these colors, creating a soft, blurred palette. This approach allowed us to create a range of additional colors, enhancing the overall aesthetic.
